Terms and Conditions – Cab Booking India
Welcome to Cab Booking India. These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of local taxi, airport transfer, railway station transfer, one-way cab, round-trip cab, outstation taxi, multi-city, and multi-day cab services arranged or provided through Cab Booking India.
By accessing our website, submitting a booking request, confirming a booking, making any payment, accepting a booking confirmation or voucher, or using our cab services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and all other applicable policies of Cab Booking India.
1. Booking and Confirmation
Customers must provide complete and accurate information while making a booking, including their name, mobile number, pickup location, destination, travel date, pickup time, itinerary, and any other information required to arrange the requested service.
A minimum advance payment equal to 10% of the estimated total trip fare is required to confirm a cab booking.
A booking will be considered confirmed only after Cab Booking India receives the applicable booking amount and communicates confirmation to the customer through email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone, website, or any other available communication method.
Submitting a booking request without receiving booking confirmation does not guarantee vehicle availability or confirmation of service.
2. Booking Confirmation and Voucher
After confirmation of a booking, Cab Booking India may provide the customer with a booking confirmation, booking reference number, electronic voucher, invoice, or other booking document.
Customers may be required to present or provide their booking confirmation, registered mobile number, booking reference number, or other identification details before using the booked service.
The customer is responsible for checking all booking details and informing Cab Booking India promptly if any information is incorrect.
By accepting the booking confirmation and using the booked service, the customer acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and other applicable policies.
3. Fare and Payment
Customers must pay the confirmed fare and all applicable charges associated with their booking.
The estimated or quoted fare may be based on the selected vehicle category, booking type, distance, duration, itinerary, package limits, pickup location, destination, and other booking conditions.
The customer is responsible for paying all outstanding amounts according to the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.
4. Additional Charges
Unless specifically stated as included in the booking fare, customers are responsible for paying applicable additional charges.
Such charges may include:
-
Toll charges;
-
Parking charges;
-
State taxes;
-
Entry fees;
-
Permit charges;
-
Driver allowance;
-
Extra kilometre charges;
-
Extra hour charges;
-

-

-
Airport or railway station charges; and
-
Other applicable trip-related charges communicated at the time of booking or incurred during the trip.
Applicable additional charges must be paid by the customer according to the booking terms.
5. Discounts, Offers and Coupons
Unless specifically stated otherwise, discounts, promotional offers, coupons, promotional codes, and other benefits will apply only to the eligible basic fare.
Discounts and promotional benefits will not apply to toll charges, taxes, parking charges, state taxes, permit fees, driver allowance, waiting charges, extra kilometre charges, extra hour charges, night charges, or other additional charges unless expressly stated in the applicable offer conditions.
Promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash and may be subject to separate eligibility requirements, validity periods, and conditions.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All booking cancellations, cancellation charges, refund eligibility, refund amounts, refund timelines, and other cancellation or refund-related matters will be governed by the Cab Booking India Cancellation & Refund Policy applicable at the relevant time.
Customers are advised to read and understand the Cancellation & Refund Policy before confirming a booking.
The Cancellation & Refund Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
7. Vehicle Availability and Replacement
All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability.
Cab Booking India does not guarantee a particular vehicle model, colour, registration number, or driver unless expressly confirmed in writing.
If the originally booked or assigned vehicle is unavailable due to operational reasons, breakdown, safety concerns, or other circumstances, Cab Booking India may provide an equivalent or suitable alternative vehicle in the same or a similar vehicle category, subject to availability.
8. Air Conditioning on Hilly Routes and Stationary Vehicles
The operation and effectiveness of vehicle air conditioning may be limited or discontinued on steep, hilly, mountainous, or difficult routes where reasonably necessary for vehicle performance, passenger safety, or operational requirements.
Air conditioning performance may also be affected when the vehicle is stationary or not in motion.
Customers must not require a driver to operate the air conditioning system in a manner that may compromise vehicle safety or proper vehicle operation.
9. Driver Conduct and Compliance with Laws
Drivers are required to operate vehicles according to applicable traffic laws, transport regulations, road safety requirements, and lawful instructions issued by competent authorities.
Customers must not request or pressure drivers to violate speed limits, traffic regulations, permit restrictions, vehicle capacity limits, safety requirements, or any other applicable law.
10. Airport, Railway Station and Local Cab Services
Unless specifically stated otherwise, airport transfers, railway station transfers, and local cab rental packages are valid only within the applicable city limits and according to the distance and duration limits of the selected booking package.
Requests to travel outside the applicable city limits may be treated as an outstation booking and may result in revised fares and additional charges.
Drivers may refuse unauthorised travel outside the applicable booking area where such travel is inconsistent with the confirmed booking type, permit conditions, or applicable laws.
11. Distance, Time and Meter Calculation
Unless specifically communicated otherwise at the time of booking, trip distance, time, kilometres, and applicable package usage may be calculated according to the terms of the selected booking package.
Depending on the booking arrangement, kilometre or time calculations may be made from the vehicle operator's garage, reporting location, pickup point, or another location communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Distances, travel times, and route information displayed on the website or communicated before booking are estimates and may vary due to the exact pickup and destination locations, selected route, road conditions, traffic, diversions, or other factors.
12. Waiting Charges
Customers must be available at the confirmed pickup location at the scheduled pickup time.
If the customer delays the start of the trip by more than 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time, applicable waiting charges may be payable by the customer.
Waiting charges may also apply during the trip where delays are caused by customer requests, extended stops, itinerary changes, or other customer-related reasons.
13. Extra Kilometres, Extra Hours and Unscheduled Changes
Customers are responsible for paying applicable charges for additional kilometres travelled, additional hours used, waiting time, additional stops, route changes, or services beyond the limits of the confirmed booking.
Any unscheduled change to the itinerary, destination, route, travel duration, number of travel days, or booking type may result in revised fares or additional charges.
All requested booking changes are subject to availability, operational feasibility, applicable permits, and approval by Cab Booking India or the relevant transport service provider.
14. Calendar Day Basis for Bookings
Where a booking package is calculated on a calendar-day basis, each booking day will run from 12:00 midnight to 11:59 p.m. of the same calendar date unless different terms are communicated at the time of booking.
For example, where a cab is booked for one calendar day with a pickup time of 5:00 p.m., the applicable booking day may end at 11:59 p.m. on the same date and not at 5:00 p.m. on the following day.
Customers should review the applicable package terms before confirming a booking.
15. Outstation Cab Usage
Cabs booked for one-way, round-trip, multi-city, or other outstation travel must be used according to the confirmed itinerary and booking type.
Unless expressly included in the booking package, unused kilometres or unused booking time cannot be used for local sightseeing, local travel, or unrelated trips within the source city or destination city.
Any request for additional local travel or a change in the confirmed itinerary may result in additional charges and will be subject to driver availability, applicable permits, and approval.
16. One-Way Cab Bookings
One-way cab fares and charges will be determined according to the booking terms communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
Where applicable and disclosed as part of the booking terms, the customer may be responsible for certain return-related charges incurred by the vehicle after completion of the one-way passenger trip.
Such charges may include applicable tolls, taxes, permits, or other charges specifically communicated to the customer.
17. Changes to Booking Type During the Trip
Customers may request a change from one-way travel to round-trip, multi-city, or another available booking type during the trip.
All such requests are subject to vehicle availability, operational feasibility, applicable permits, driver availability, revised fares, and approval by Cab Booking India.
Customers must contact Cab Booking India Customer Support and provide their booking reference number and details of the requested change.
If the requested change is approved, the customer must pay any applicable fare difference or additional charges according to the payment instructions communicated by Cab Booking India.
A requested booking change will not become effective until it has been approved and any required payment conditions have been fulfilled.
18. Multi-Location Pickups and Drops
Unless specifically included in the booking confirmation, transfer bookings with unspecified distance coverage include transportation between the confirmed pickup point and one confirmed destination.
Additional pickup points, drop locations, stops, diversions, or route changes may result in additional charges and are subject to operational feasibility and approval.
19. Round Trip, Multi-Day and Outstation Bookings
For round trips, multi-day bookings, tour bookings, and outstation packages, customers are responsible for paying fares and charges according to the originally confirmed booking duration, itinerary, package, and applicable booking terms.
Any early termination, shortening of the trip, unused booking period, itinerary change, or request for fare adjustment will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and policies of Cab Booking India.
20. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information and cooperate with reasonable requirements necessary to provide the booked cab service.
Customers and accompanying passengers must behave respectfully toward drivers and other persons involved in providing the service.
Customers must not damage the vehicle, engage in illegal activities, threaten or harass drivers, carry prohibited or dangerous items, exceed lawful passenger capacity, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
The customer may be responsible for cleaning, repair, replacement, or compensation charges resulting from damage caused by the customer or accompanying passengers.
21. Personal Belongings and Luggage
Customers are responsible for their luggage, valuables, documents, cash, mobile phones, electronic devices, and other personal belongings.
Customers should check the vehicle carefully before leaving at the end of the trip.
Cab Booking India may make reasonable efforts to assist customers in recovering lost items but does not guarantee the recovery of any lost, forgotten, stolen, or damaged property.
22. Completion of Journey and Duty Slip
At the completion of a journey, the customer may be requested to review, complete, sign, or otherwise confirm a duty slip, trip sheet, electronic trip record, or other service completion document.
Such confirmation may be used as evidence of the completion of the booked service, trip details, kilometres travelled, additional charges, waiting time, and other relevant information.
Customers should review the information carefully and report any genuine discrepancy to Cab Booking India within a reasonable period.
23. Driver Misconduct and Complaints
Customers should report any serious misconduct, inappropriate behaviour, safety concern, or other service-related complaint to Cab Booking India Customer Support as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should provide their booking reference number, trip details, and relevant information necessary to review the complaint.
Cab Booking India may investigate complaints and take appropriate action according to the circumstances, available evidence, contractual arrangements with service providers, and applicable laws.
24. Delays and Force Majeure
Cab Booking India will not be responsible for delays, service interruptions, or failure to provide services caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cab Booking India will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from the booking or use of cab services.
Where Cab Booking India acts only as a booking platform or intermediary between customers and independent transport service providers, its liability will be determined according to its actual role in the transaction, contractual obligations, and applicable Indian laws.

26. Third-Party Drivers and Transport Service Providers
Cab Booking India may arrange transportation services through independent drivers, vehicle owners, fleet operators, vendors, or third-party transport service providers.
Where applicable, such service providers are responsible for maintaining valid driving licences, vehicle registrations, permits, insurance, fitness certificates, and other documents required under applicable laws.
Cab Booking India may take reasonable measures to work with eligible transport service providers but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any specific driver or vehicle.
